The dude told u how he felt about u and u shut him down in his eyes. its really hard for a guy to tell a girl how they feel and when it doesnt turn out the way that they want they freak out and do dumb stuff. ur friend wanted to know about the guy that u were "seeing" because like he told u he loves u and wants to be with u. he didnt tell u about the girl hes "seeing" because he thought u wouldnt aprove most likely and because if he told u that he was sleeping with some one then it wold totally destroy wat little chance he thinks that he has with u. its nothing personal and its not a double standard, maybe it was more like a "u didnt ask" kind of situation. dont a void him, tell him ur pissed and why ur pissed. and if it really bothers u so much that hes with some one else maybe u have more feelings for him then u know.

Well he's your bestfriend right? You should tell him exactly how you're feeling and why you're pissed off at him and why didn't he tell you. You can't make assumptions as to why he did the things he did and expect yourself to be right. You have to step up and ask him.
