Try talking to academic advisors, go to career fairs, try doing some research online. And take different classes just to see if something new might interest you. Lots of people don't knwo what they want to do but eventually I'm sure you'll figure it out and after that you can wory about the bills. Don't give up, just relax and explore, you're in college to learn and sometimes that means learning who you are and what you want and it can take time.

maybe you should look for other options. you wouldn't want to be treated by a doctor that passed because of luck. what are you good at? what do you enjoy? go from there. if you chose to be a doctor because of the money you need to realize that money isn't everything. would you really be happy doing something you do not enjoy for the rest of your life? your mother loves you, no matter what you do, she should be proud. talk to her about it. see what she thinks, honesty is very important.

A lot of people don't know what they want to do when they start college, me included. My best advice is to look at the different majors and take some classes that interest you. If it's something you enjoy learning aobut, you will do well in the class and chances are you can make a successful career out of it down the road. Don't try to become somrthing to make someone else happy. It also helps to talk to an academic advisor. They can point you in the right direction.

hey man..i can understand where your comming from...the only thing you really need to do i sit down with your mom and tell her...the doc thing isnt for me...and tell her what YOU really want to do..i can tell you care about her...well dont drive her into more debt with a school you really dont want to be in and will prolly drop out of or even fail..on the other hand...you can always step it up one more notch...but i understand that that isnt always possible...

yeah serious. get **** in gear and go to career fairs. if laziness is whats killin your grades, nerd it up and hit the books. if it isnt, keep in mind doctors need plummers to fix their ****...dentists need mechanics to fix their BMW's. i think you get the picture. your job doesnt determine your capability.

I definately know where you're coming from. I had the exact same problem since my parents wanted me to be a doctor too (all parents want their kids to be doctors). This is what I did and it helped...look at your past courses- what did you do good in? what do you enjoy doing? Take that info to an on campus advisor and see if they can recommend a major that suits you. As far as the financial situation goes, depending on your class, I'd recommend going to a community college first and taking all the basics that'll transfer to the university you want to graduate from. Good luck and I'm sure you'll find something that suits you :)

ok, this may not seem serious, but go to quizfarm.com and find the quiz that says "what maajor is for you" i am only 13 and i took it.... yeah i think i will use it to determine what i want to be when i graduate from highschool. if it doesn't help then i am sorry...
