Easy- get out of that town! I live in a small town too, and I know exactly how you feel. Get out!! There is so much out there that your missing out on. Small towns aren't meant for everyone. I used to find myself traveling every weekend to get out of my hick town. Just move and after you adjust to your new town you'll love it. Just don't be too hard on yourself about not leaving earlier.

I would say, if you think ou can handle the life, join the military for a while. Even if its only for 4 years, you will move around and meet a LOT of new people. If you are worried about getting sent off to war join the Coast Guard. Coasties move a lot and very few go to war (though its still a possiblity). If you go on one of the larger cutters you will be able to visit a lot of different places, both in the US and out.
