My man picked me up from work. He had packed my bags and told me we were going somwwhere secret. We got to the airport and he did everything in his power to keep where we were going a secret. He flew me to Half Moon Bay..( beautiful hotel on the beach.. the one that was in the movie American Pie 2). The bed had rose petals sprinkled into a heart shape and the window was open up to the ocean breeze coming in. Sunkein bathtub...the whole 9 yards. That is a memory that will stick forever! that is soooo sweet. i wish my husband had done something like that. well, i guess he did. he came to my house before i woke up...like 5 in the morning. he got my mom, sister, grandparents, and his mom to come over. my mom had the video camera. they were all in my bedroom. he got down on one knee, with a ring and a dozen roses, woke me up, gave me a kiss and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. that was nine years ago. after i obviously said yes, we all went into the kitchen where he had baked and decorated my favorite cake, carrot cake with cream chees icing , and all sat down and cake and coffee while we celebrated our engagement.
