Hey GIRL!! The first kiss is very magical. It is magical if you care about the person. I know that he broke your heart. This is why next time you think you are ready to take that step with someone, make sure that you know there are feelings there on both sides. Make sure you are not just feeling this way, but he is too. Not to mention, do not just listen to what he says. Guys will say and do anything to get what they want. This is why you have to know him for a while and know how he acts all the time. If he really cares about you then you will know it inside. He will do sweet things for you. Like if you two have lunch together he will take your tray, but make sure he doesn't take anyone else's tray though. Be careful. Don't just go around kissing everyone because you think you like someone or because you think it is the cool thing to do. I promise you, if you hold to yourself and know your standards and know how far to go and how far not to go then it will be okay. You don't want to be a girl that is like all the other girls. You want to be a girl that is who she is and is proud of that. If you respect yourself then boys will respect you too. The ones who don't respect your morals and what you stand for, you don't need them and those are not the kind of boys you want to be going out with anyway. It sounds like this happened not to long ago so you around 13-14 years old. Just Remember: you are young and you will have plenty of guys who like you. You do not have to please them, worry about pleasing your parents and what makes them happy at this time in your life-- think about what you want from life and then stick to it and don't compromise for anyone. No boy in this world is worth ruining your life. If your friends do not understand why you are waiting on the right guy then find new friends that respect the way you view life. First and foremost--put JESUS CHRIST first in your life. He will never lead you wrong and he will be with you while making these hard decisions that are ahead of you. Believe me some of the ones that you are going to be faced with are not going to be easy, but read your BIBLE, and pray for HIS guidance and I know you'll do fine and you will have a future with alot of love and total happiness.
